The Swiss Flute Studio is a new, inspiring, and unique artistic environment dedicated to the flute, offering amateurs, students and professionals the opportunity to explore new musical perspectives and refine their musical skills.

 

With a strong focus on individual growth, the Swiss Flute Studio supports flutists preparing for entrance exams to universities and conservatories and offers specialized courses for young flutists and amateur musicians.

 

The Swiss Flute Studio also provides the opportunity to study at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland through its internationally recognized Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.

 

 

The Swiss Flute Studio focuses on various aspects, including:

 

Mastery of technique, sound and articulation on the flute.

Musical interpretation, phrasing, expression and stylistic nuances.

Performance training and preparation for entrance exams and competitions.

The Swiss Flute Studio specializes in historical musical interpretation based on the application of stylistic and technical aspects and the use of period instruments.

 

Instruments used in the Flute Studio:

Extended Techniques

 

The study of non-conventional techniques known as extended techniques are an important part of the Flute Studio.

 

The Flute Studio includes the process of learning and practicing modern techniques for the flute as well as the study of several works of the contemporary flute repertoire.

The Baroque Room course will be held in two sessions:

 

1. Session: online seminar with topics chosen in advance by the Baroque Room moderator.


2. Session: online seminar with topics chosen by the participants and final "round table" open session.

 

(The topics must have a relevance or connection with the baroque period and must be sent with the registration).
